Daniel Åstrand is a Partner and Head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution group. He has more than ten years of experience in dispute resolution and specializes in court proceedings and arbitration. Daniel regularly assists clients in all aspects of commercial disputes, including litigation analysis, strategic advice before and during disputes, and representation before arbitral tribunals and courts. He has particular experience in disputes related to M&A and real estate transactions, shareholder disputes, financial disputes, and construction disputes.

TM & Partners has acted as Swedish legal counsel to Endúr ASA in connection with the acquisition of Marcon-Gruppen i Sverige AB for a purchase price of SEK 400 million. Marcon-Gruppen i Sverige AB is a market leader within marine infrastructure in Sweden and performs a range of services connected to marine infrastructure construction and marine services, including hydrographical services, dredging, rentals, inspections and diving. TM & Partners’ client win in the Swedish Supreme Court

The Swedish Supreme Court rule in favour of TM & Partners’ client. They agrees with the arguments made by counsels Viktor Magnell and Daniel Åstrand, and rules that claims made under chapter 10 of the Swedish Environmental Code arguments are subject to preclusion in accordance with the legislation in Section 6 of the special legislation in relation to unknown creditors
