Tailored legal advice for startups and growth companies

Building a successful company requires more than a strong business idea. With the right legal structure and guidance from the outset, you create solid conditions for investment, growth, and a successful exit. At TM & Partners, we offer customized legal advice for entrepreneurs, startups, and growth companies through our “Start-up Partner” service. The service is designed to address the legal challenges that arise when a company is in its formation stage or operates in an early growth phase.

We act as a long-term legal partner throughout the company’s entire journey, from protecting the initial idea to capital raising, expansion, and exit. With our broad expertise in business law, including venture capital, intellectual property, tech, financing, and corporate law, as well as our extensive network, we provide a true “one-stop-shop” legal experience for our clients.

Start-up Partner – how the collaboration works
Each client within our startup programis assigned a senior dedicated contact person, often a partner, who coordinates the legal advice and, when needed, brings in the firm’s specialists in relevant practice areas. Through this service, companies are connected with leading lawyers within their respective fields. We also tryto match advisors based on industry. To ensure the highest quality of our advice, we work with a limited number of companies within our start-up offering.

Our offering also includes:

  • Educational programs on key legal topics relevant to start-ups
  • Networking events
  • Access to the firm’s conference rooms for, for example, board meetings and pitch sessions

Cost-effective legal advice
We understand that startups and growth companies often operate with limited resources. At the same time, we want to support innovation. Therefore, we offer cost-effective legal advice, often at a pre-agreed fixed fee. For example, we provide fixed pricing for shareholders’ agreements, a company’s first capital raise, and incentive programs.

We also have the ability to offer various types of success fee arrangements.

In addition, we provide certain initial legal advice free of charge for companies that qualify for participation in our Start-up Partner program.
