TM & Partners has advised Vendus in connection with two financings totalling approximately SEK 2 billion for the acquisition of 51 retail properties

TM & Partners has advised Vendus Sweden AB (publ) (“Vendus”) in connection with the financing of its acquisition of a total of 51 retail properties at an underlying property value of approximately SEK 2.7 billion, as well as the acquisition of a retail site at an underlying property value of approximately SEK 470 million. The financing comprised two separate facilities provided by two different banks, with an aggregate loan amount of approximately SEK 2 billion.

As part of the transaction, Vendus acquired 35 retail properties from Trecore Fastigheter, owned by ICA Fastigheter and Bonnier Fastigheter, at a value of approximately SEK 1.7 billion, and a further 16 retail properties directly from ICA Fastigheter at a value of approximately SEK 1.0 billion. All of the properties are let on long-term leases to ICA.
