TM & Partners has advised the sellers in connection with Natur & Kultur’s acquisition of 80 percent of the shares in the educational publishing company Majema.

Majema is a Swedish educational publisher that develops printed and digital learning materials for preschool class through grade 6. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Nacka Strand, the company is particularly known for its core educational material series in Swedish, mathematics and English, as well as its planning tools for teachers and students.

Through the transaction, Majema gains a long-term, mission-driven majority owner in Natur & Kultur, while continuing to operate as an independent company with its entrepreneurial culture, distinct brand and established way of working intact.

The acquisition is a strategic step in Natur & Kultur’s continued investment in educational materials and strengthens the group’s overall offering in a segment where demand for high-quality, relevant and engaging content continues to grow.
